Over time, common daily practices will inevitably take their toll on your teeth. Foods and beverages such as chocolate, colas, coffee, and red wine tend to tarnish and stain your teeth, marring an otherwise dazzling smile. Certain lifestyle choices such as smoking further compound this affect.
Fortunately, cosmetic dentistry offers you a way to counteract the staining effects of the products you consume so that you can restore your teeth to the bright, pearly white shade they used to be. At Cooley Smiles, we offer take-home professional teeth whitening options to help you achieve the results you desire. Learn more about the advantages of teeth whitening.
Teeth Whitening Options
Teeth Whitening with Take Home Trays
We use the Discuss Night White® bleaching system because we feel it provides the best results of any take-home whitening system on the market.
Dr. Aaron and Dr. Brandon will take an imprint of your teeth and provide you with a custom bleaching tray to ensure even and effective distribution of the whitening solution. You will be provided with Discuss Night White® Bleaching Gel to be applied daily to your teeth over a two week period. The results from this method are long lasting and will lighten your teeth several shades during the course of your treatment.
Caring for your Whitened Teeth
In order to ensure that your teeth whitening results last as long as possible, it is important to maintain good oral hygiene practices at home and visit our office twice a year for regular teeth cleanings. By brushing and flossing daily and coming in for regular cleanings, your smile should remain bright and dazzling for several years.
However, over time, the staining agents which you consume may begin to tarnish your teeth again. If this happens, Dr. Aaron and Dr. Brandon can provide you with a touch-up whitening procedure to refresh and revitalize your smile. Let us know if you have any questions about teeth whitening.
