The Right Amount is BeneficialThe general rule of thumb for the right size toothpaste to go with is just a pea-sized amount. Nothing more, nothing less is required. It is working to scrub away the bad things while leaving the good behind. It helps to strengthen the enamel, which is the exterior layer of protection for your teeth.
Too much toothpaste can actually harm the teeth. Many of the toothpastes on the market have a lot of sugar and extras in them, which is something that you do not want when it comes to brushing your teeth.
The right amount is going to reduce the acidity in the mouth, clean it out and also work to gently scrub away the plaque and build up that is sitting in those hard to reach areas inside the mouth.
